I spent the first 15 years of my adult life in mortgage banking. It was a seven day a week job and left me with little time for myself. I don't regret the years I spent in the industry and am still friends with many of my past clients. It was rewarding to help people make their dreams come true.

A few years ago I found an old camera and a few lenses my husband had. I signed up for an evening class at the local junior college and had an amazing instructor. I was hooked.

Two years worth of classes and over 12,000 saved images later people started asking me to take photos of their children, family portraits, and to shoot birthday parties. I started using my photography for cards and gifts, and stumbled into etsy.

I have recently started doing workshops that I call "Accessible Photography." The idea is that anyone can take a great photograph with nothing more than a point and shoot camera.

The rest, as they say, is history!
